Mascots plot
"From the sidelines to the spotlight."
Mockumentary about a group of 'out of the ordinary' men and women with big heads and furry costumes who compete for the title of 'Best mascot in the world'. The grand prize, a golden mascot named Golden Fluffy. Among the mascots that descend on Anaheim for the Golden Fluffies is a man whose routine is based entirely on plumbing, a Texan whose movements are heavily influenced by modern dance, and the womanizer Irishman Canuck who grew up in a commune. Gabby Monkhouse is the mascot who eventually became a judge. The stakes are high and the challengers have to take into account, among other things, doping control, marriage problems and food poisoning.
