Mama's Affair plot
Eve Orrin is manipulated and suppressed by her neurotic mother (Grace) and her mother's friend (Mrs. Merchant). She is not allowed to leave the house without her mother and if she goes against her mother, she will have a seizure. Against Grace's will, she has to marry Mrs. Merchant's son, but she falls in love with her mother's doctor.
