Mal de Maire au Beuchay plot

After the wave of marriages that overwhelms the village of Beuchay, Pierre-Yves Peuchon, the mayor of the village, mysteriously disappears. There has to be a replacement and in some the urge for power is quickly awakening. Commissioner Chabert is the first to run for office. He is closely followed by his enemy, Baron Hector Delauchay. The long-awaited duel of the inhabitants of Beuchay in need of a mayor must take place, unless fate decides otherwise...
