Mademoiselle Strip-tease plot

Sophie Durville (Agnès Laurent), the beautiful daughter of a wealthy family, falls in love with Jacques Bersan (Philippe Nicaud), a humble student. When Jacques leaves the small town, Sophie goes with him and they leave for Paris to study. When it soon becomes apparent that Jacques is less in love with her than she had thought, Sophie decides to start performing in clubs, to show Jacques that she is no longer the peasant girl she used to be.
