"The Climb Back Up From The Bottom Is A Trip You Will Never Forget"

Patch Kelley changes her name to Patch Chrisy and becomes leader of an LSD-damaged religious cult. Together with Kitty Karryall, who has been helped by Patch from an alcohol addiction, Patch asks the prostitute Alexandria "Cheetah" Axethrasher to replace the recently murdered Bunny Tremelo in the band The Lovedolls. Rainbow Tramaine travels from New Mexico to Hollywood to discover that his twin brother has committed suicide after taking The Lovedolls to the top.
