Love Serenade plot
"Two sisters will do anything to hook the right man."
The town of Sunray has no complaints about a lack of sun: it is located in the middle of the Australian desert. The residents are proud to have finished second in the 'Tidy Town' competition. There is not much else to do. That's why sisters Vicky-Ann and Dimity Hurley follow with great interest the arrival of the new DJ of the local radio station. They are in their twenties and desperately in need of a man. Vicky-Ann, the oldest, has been in a relationship, but is no longer available due to a serious accident with a chainsaw. Dimity, cycling aimlessly, is a shy virgin with a keen interest in fishing. She lets the stories of her sister, who bluntly reports that the new resident is her betrothed, seemingly calmly wash over her. This DJ, Ken Sherry, turns out to be an overage hippie with something fishy about him. In addition, he constantly inquires about the freshness of the shrimp in the Chinese restaurant where Dimity works, but does not order them. There is more strange going on, which does not stop the sisters from opening the hunt.
