Love in a 4 Letter World plot

A film editor completely changes tack for all sorts of reasons. His film images reveal a world that he can hardly follow. His daughter no longer obeys, leaves the house to live with one of the hippies who have opened a boutique next door. He neglects his wife who, utterly disillusioned, begins an affair with the other hippie. He himself tries to seduce one of his assistants. In the end he is all alone.
