A man is visited by his mother-in-law and pretends to be demented to ignore her. However, his mother-in-law enlists professional help for him and he is soon admitted to a mental institution. There the doctors, nurses, madmen, murderers, monsters and skeletons roam free. And then there's a mad professor who has a thing for brain transplants and all kinds of cruel experiments...
