Liebling, Lass die Hühner Frei plot

Life goes on as usual in the Brandenburg village of Krummenwalde. Sophie is now twelve, brother Kai and sister Lisa have left home and Beate, who is still the successful manager of the mineral spring, and her husband Steffen finally have some more time for each other. They want to celebrate their silver wedding anniversary in Rome. However, the Brandenburg Interior Ministry has other plans for Beate.
