Liebe, So Schön wie Liebe plot
The story is about the late 1960s subculture in the hip Schwabing district of Munich, where the university is located. Rolf (Rolf Zacher) and his buddy Dietrich (Dietrich Kerky) are idlers, wasting their time. When they need money, they try to nail people with tricks and small scams. They pick up stray dogs and sell them, or collect money from black-eyed spectators by impersonating law enforcement officers. While scouring an apartment building, they meet Sylvie (Sylvie Winter), Isolde (Isolde Nist) and Renate (Reneta Zimmermann), the three of whom live in an apartment.
