Les Tortillards plot
Emile Durand (Louis de Funès) is the inventor of an insecticide and busy developing new products to make his company successful. He would like his son Gérard (Jean Pierre) to succeed him in the business. When Gérard confesses that he is in love with Suzy Beauminet (Danièle Lebrun), the daughter of stage actor and artist César (Jean Richard), the house is too small. After a violent quarrel, Gérard leaves headlong for his beloved Suzy.
