In this film we see Paolo and Renato whose only performance so far has been as characters in a billboard commercial, but who come to life when they find that their billboard will be covered with new advertising. Climbing down from the scaffolding, they begin to create chaos in modern-day Rome, sometimes as ambulance drivers and at other times impersonating detectives leading a crime investigation into the department store chain 'Berlusconi's Standa'...
