Le Chasseur de chez Maxim's plot

The doorman of "Chez Maxim's", whose family keeps silent about his profession, retires after accumulating a large fortune. His daughter becomes engaged to a lord of the castle, who recognizes him when he sees his future father-in-law, and that leads to major problems. Will the young couple's relationship break or will their love be strong enough to overcome the obstacles?
