Le Bon Roi Dagobert plot
When the boy, Bébert Pelletan, answers during history lesson that the famous king of the Franks, Dagobert I, always wore his underpants backwards, he is sent home with criminal work, much to his father's dismay. While writing this, Bébert soon finds himself in his own fantasy world, in which King Dagobert competes against his own half-brother Charibert, who wants to be proclaimed King of Reims. Dagobert would rather see that royal seat reserved for his young son Sigisbert. Together with his chief adviser, Saint Eloi, he prepares to be the first to reach Reims.
