La Vache et le Président plot

Nine-year-old Lucas, an orphaned boy, lives on a farm. He becomes close friends with Maeve, a calf. If one day one of the cows in the herd is found to be suffering from mad cow disease, all the animals must be slaughtered. Lucas is willing to do anything to save Maeve. Even going to Paris, asking the President himself to pardon Maeve.
