La Película del Rey plot
David is a cinematographer who is determined to film the life of Oreille Antoine de Tourens, the legendary Frenchman who proclaimed himself King of Patagonia in the 19th century. David's big dream almost goes up in smoke when his producer suddenly disappears to Europe and the search for the main actor does not run smoothly. Yet he manages to gather a small group of professional film people around him. But the setbacks he faces in Patagonia take on apocalyptic dimensions, which is translated in the film into hallucinatory, surreal scenes. The filmmaker seems to merge completely with the protagonist of his own film when he wants to complete his "magnus opus" at any cost.
