La Higuera de los Bastardos plot
As the Spanish War draws to a close, a fascist soldier decides to continue as a hobo after looking the 10-year-old son of one of his victims straight in the eye. He leaves the army and goes to tend a fig tree. In the back of his mind, however, he is convinced that his victim's son will come and kill him when he turns sixteen.
