La Grande Maffia... plot
Modeste Miette is an insignificant Parisian bank clerk with a heart problem. Only if he undergoes a heart transplant soon will he survive. But he is lucky: just when his condition becomes critical and he has to go to the hospital, gangster boss Al Cartone is also brought in. Modeste gains Cartone's heart and, following the mobster's will, immediately becomes the new boss of Cartone's crime syndicate. One of the first actions to be taken is the robbery of the bank where Modeste used to work.
