Stylish film in which Rome is shown at its most beautiful and seductive. If you really create the right viewing conditions, La Grande Bellezza feels like a dream, and before I knew it, an hour had passed. Downsides are that not all conversations and storylines are equally interesting, and the editing sometimes feels a bit sloppy. Just as you are enjoying a scene, it is cut off, to go to the next beautiful scene. Because audiovisually, La Grande Bellezza is a masterpiece, and Sorrentino deserves all the credit in that regard.
