La Bonne Étoile plot
Auguste is a poor fisherman who is madly in love with the beautiful Mireille. Unfortunately, Mireille falls for the charms of Maurice, a playboy who wastes his time trying to turn young women's heads. When he realizes how much Mireille is in love with Maurice, Auguste puts his feelings for her out of the way and tries to convince Maurice to marry her.
