La Bella Mugnaia plot
Don Teofilo is the governor of Naples in 1680 who has set his sights on the various beautiful wives of the peasants in his area. The shapely Carmela, wife of the miller Luca, has his special attention. Luca, in turn, does not let this just pass, and tries to uphold his honor by seducing Don Teofilio's wife herself.
