Seventeen-year-old Jasper grows up in a well-behaved, gray Flemish village. In his own family he cannot really be who he really is. Jasper's father is a schlager singer named Lukkie Luk, who does everything he can to become a big star.

Short Flemish film by the same director who later directed 'Young Hearts'. The plot bears a slight resemblance to that of Young Hearts (main character likes to draw, father is a folk singer, understanding mother, 'friendship' with a classmate, struggle with identity), but with slightly older actors. A fun short with a surprising ending.
