Kindergarten Cop plot
"Go ahead, you tell him you didn't do your homework."
John Kimble is a tough cop who has been chasing drug trafficker Cullen Crisps for years. He eventually manages to find him, but it turns out that the only person who can testify against Crips is his ex-wife. His ex-wife turns out to be missing and the only clue is her son at a kindergarten. Kimble decides to go undercover at kindergarten to protect the boy from a killer.

Typical family film, in which Arnold Schwarzenegger once again tries to show his funny side. That doesn't always work out well here. Schwarzenegger certainly does his best and I can't deny that he manages to radiate a lot of enthusiasm, but that's not quite enough to wear this Kindergarten Cop. He clearly misses someone next to him here, as he had in, for example, a Twins in the person of Danny DeVito.
It looks a bit dated here and there. The bit parts are decent, but only the headmistress is really nice. What is also striking is the violence that is involved. Sometimes quite hard and something you don't expect from a family film like this. Nice for once, but also clearly an example of something that used to be more fun than now.

Watched the movie with my kids (9 and 12). I had already seen it and still think it is a nice film that is easy to look at and quite funny. I was myself with a 3.5 in my head but under heavy pressure from my children so had to round up.
