Kevin of the North plot

At his Los Angeles office, Kevin Manley learns that he is inheriting a large estate from his late grandfather in Alaska. But before he owns the piece of land, Kevin must complete one task: prove that he is a real Manley. He travels to the frigid, expanses of Alaska to complete the famous 1000-mile sled dog race across the ice. For obscure reasons, some villagers don't want the land to come into Kevin's hands. The stingy old agent Thornton and the beautiful Bonnie, with the help of an ex-cop, try to stop Kevin from arriving in one piece...
