Emma is a sound designer in LA who creates sound effects for porn movies to help pay the bills. Barkley has dropped out of her master's degree, but still pretends to go to school every day so her family doesn't find out. Rachel is the best primary school teacher in the world, but leads a lonely life. When they hear that Emma's parents want to get rid of her refurbishment boat, the women decide to drive to the countryside to save and fix the boat. Soon the three women learn from each other and two local residents what it takes to make their dreams come true.
