Johnny Flash plot

The mother (Kunze) of the somewhat clumsy electrician Jürgen Potzkothen (Schneider) thinks he can sing so beautifully. Is a career as a schlager singer not something for him? He is registered by impresario Terrence Toi (also Kunze) for a talent show, under the stage name Johnny Flash. Soon the hero becomes a plaything of commercial forces.
