Jean de la Lune plot

Jeff, a florist and incorrigible dreamer who is softly or ironically called Jan van de Maan, is madly in love with the beautiful but unsteady Marceline. The girl has a lot of lovers. However, the naive Jeff remains blind to this and eventually marries her. Will he succeed in getting Marceline on the right path after all?
