Jawani Zindabaad plot

Prabjyot Kaur lives a traditional and conservative lifestyle in urban Punjab with her parents and grandparents. Her father Joginder Singh is very strict and disapproves of love marriages. Prabjyot is eager to continue her studies in the city of Chandigarh and is accompanied by her grandfather, who arranges lodging for her with widower Colonel Brar. He already has several young women as tenants. Little Prabhjyot knows, however, that the Colonel isn't the man he's pretending to be: he was never married, and it won't be long before she's swept up in a romance that will leave her in conflict with her family.
