After young Jack Brooks witnesses his family's murder, his life is turned upside down. Although he has a job as a plumber, he continues to struggle with an unstoppable rage that he finds difficult to control. One night, Jack tries to mend the rusty old pipes at Professor Crowley's house. He accidentally awakens an ancient evil and Crowley turns into a terrible monster.
