Jean-Louis Cartier is a Frenchman who has settled in Canada. He is married to a moody woman from Quebec and dreams of adventure. He gives his wife a caravan and reluctantly drags her along for a fantastic trip across Canada. The fact that he and his wife do not know English leads to a series of misunderstandings.
