"He Was Too Busy Making History to Make Love!"
When his submarine collides with an excursion boat, Captain Scott "Scotty" McClenahan remains the last one on board. Scotty makes sure that the crew is rescued first. Navy divers rescue Scotty and his exploits make him famous. Scotty retires early from the Navy as a commander and finds that there is still a lot of interest in him as a hero. There are parades, speeches, autograph sessions and banquets. Even his marriage to his girlfriend Janet Porter is front page news. Everyone wants a piece of Scotty. The only thing Scotty doesn't have yet is his freedom and privacy.
