It Happened in New York plot

Vania Nardi is a temperamental New York movie star. She gets riled up about reports about her in the tabloid press and hires taxi driver Charley Barnes as her bodyguard. Vania's manager Greg Haywood in turn hires a fake prince to escort Vania to the premiere of her new movie, but Vania takes Charley with her instead. Charley's fiancé Chris Edwards then goes to the premiere with the hired 'prince'. Charley, however, is not pleased and he and the 'prince' are soon engaged in a spicy fist fight in the theater.
