Is Everybody Happy? plot
"The Master of Jazz in a Masterpiece of Glorious Entertainment!"
Victor Molnár is a conductor from Budapest. He retires and then immigrates to the United States with his wife and young son Ted. Ted takes a valuable violin presented to him by Emperor Franz Joseph. They rent a cheap apartment in New York and Ted visits his former lover Lena Schmitt, who now turns out to be part of the Ziegfeld Follies. Embarrassed by Ted's appearance, however, Lena greets him coolly. Unable to find work with a symphony orchestra and faced with rent arrears, Ted pawns his precious violin and tells his relatives he has a job.
