Inu to Anata no Monogatari: Inu no Eiga plot

A film consisting of six segments in which dogs are central. In "The Dog's Name", translator Ichiro gets a dog against his will, but grows to love it more and more. Segment "Akira!" is about actor Akira Nakao who blunders in a cafe by reacting when a woman calls her dog, also named Akira. "Visits to Dog Lovers" is about a TV show about dogs. In "Dog Nap", a dog is kidnapped by a kidnapper who doesn't want to give the dog up for ransom anymore. Michiyo can't enjoy herself at her son's wedding reception because she's worried about her dog in "Mother's Anxiety". Finally, "Vanilla Fragments" is about Natsuko who can't forget her dog Vanilla after his death.
