Intimate Relations plot
When Harold Guppy rents a room with the Beasly family, the lady of the house Julie falls in love with him and wants to sleep with him. Her thirteen-year-old daughter Joyce realizes this and threatens to inform her father, unless she is also allowed to lie in bed with the two. Julie allows this, as long as it stays put. However, when Guppy wants to leave, Joyce threatens to go to the police and charge him with child abuse.
