Armando Andreoli, a well-known engineer of nearly 80, is approached by Federica, an attractive young nurse with a soft spot for older men. When he cannot find a hotel to stay in Bologna, she invites him to spend the night in her flat. He is very surprised when she asks him to sleep in her bed. What is she up to? What does she want from him? The next morning Federica's betrothed arrives. He doesn't have the slightest suspicion of what just happened last night.
