"She's the Hot Number of the Switchboards!"

Terry Riley is a talented handyman for a telephone company in New York City. Terry also uses his talents when he decides to help his girlfriend and hotel operator Marie Lawson. Naive Marie lost her job when she unknowingly performed a favor for a gangster Nicky. Terry gets Marie another job with the financier Mr. John P. Schuyler, but Nicky has other plans for Marie.
