The members of a family love Christmas, except for the sixteen-year-old daughter. All Christmas decorations are an eyesore for her. When her friend, who lives far away, decides to stop by for the holidays, she's determined to spare him her family's Christmas obsession. She hires actors to play her parents and organizes a so-called Christmas dinner in an empty house. What could go wrong?
