Mayumi "Yumi" is a girl who, from childhood, dreams of a perfect marriage. She meets her Prince Charming Lance Tan, a Chinese handsome guy. They start a relationship with each other against the wishes of their families. Yumi becomes pregnant and they are forced to get married. Lance and Yumi want nothing more than to achieve their dream wedding. The Tan family, for traditional reasons, does everything they can to end the relationship and the upcoming marriage.
