"Sometimes the only thing you need is a cousin you forgot about years ago."
Hudson is a somewhat withdrawn but charming man. When he hears about his mother's death, he travels with his distant cousin to scatter his mother's ashes in the Hudson Valley. However, along the way they meet a very unusual hitchhiker. This turns their simple road trip into a dysfunctional adventure full of self-discovery, mini golf and broken Volvos.
