Honolulu Lu plot
"LUPE ROCKS THE NAVY WITH ROARS!"
Consuelo Cordoba vows to make an honest man out of her uncle Estaban, a con man who prefers rich widows. They travel to Honolulu and things immediately go wrong when Estaban tries to collect a false check. Consuelo decides to leave her uncle behind and start working on her own future. She meets Aloha and he ensures that Consuelo can audition at the Blue Chip Cabaret. Her singing and dancing talents are noticed by the manager, who demands that she change her name to Lu. Meanwhile, Uncle Estaban hooks up with Mrs. Van Derholt, who sponsors the Miss Honolulu contest.
