"After years of room service, he could use a wake-up call."

For most people, a hotel visit means vacation. A nice time away from home. Not so for hotel inspector Ludwig who has been waking up every morning in a different hotel for thirty years, and sees hotel beds and interchangeable rooms as his home. From his ivory tower of room service and wake-up calls, he has lost touch with reality. Until he meets a young colleague during an overnight stay in Paris.
