Hotel owner and mayor Oskar wants his cousin to evict his fiancée to marry his childhood sweetheart Senta. Senta owns a mountain meadow and the adjacent piece of forest where Oskar wants to build a new ski area, but the man soon gets into a fight with the village pastor.
