"ROMANCE ... RHYTHM ... REVELRY. Combined to give you a musical extravaganza of matchless beauty and entertainment"

The small independent radio station WPX, which was in danger of bankruptcy, is rescued by its sponsor Emily Potter. She invests money in TV equipment. The condition is that the owner David Farraday agrees that her daughter and dancer Annabelle can sing for the camera. But because of her bad voice, Annabelle's singing has to be dubbed by Fred's friend Pat Abbott. Trouble begins when David starts dating Annabelle.
