Ben Dobson is persuaded by his wife Martha to leave the big city (New York City) and move to a country house. Unfortunately, Ben doesn't have enough money to fund his new lifestyle any longer and he wants to return to the city, but Martha refuses to consider it. When Ben's employer one day asks him to write an article about the disadvantages of living in the countryside, Ben seizes the opportunity with both hands, hoping to convince his wife to want to live in a city again.
