Gold Dust Gertie plot

Golddigger Gertrude "Gertie” Dale marries George Harlan. She then divorces him again to marry Elmer Guthrie. Elmer is George Harlan's business partner in a bathing suit production company. After Gertie also dumps Elmer, he marries Lucille Harlan, while George Harlan teams up with Lucille's sister Mabel Several years pass before Gutrie reappears in the lives of George Harlan and Elmer Guthrie: she wants alimony.
