After his unexpected dismissal, Hubert (Hubertus Hartmann) has no money left for his planned trip to China, where he wanted to marry his fiancée. That's why he robs a lotto kiosk where he comes from with DM 40,000. Saleswoman Gesine (Gesa Badenhorst) and her ten-year-old daughter Marie (Anna S. Luhn) force Hubert to take them with her.
