Frau am Steuer plot

Maria Keleman is the diligent secretary of bank manager Bordon, who is secretly in love with her. However, Maria is already engaged to Paul Banky and when they get married he wants Maria to play the traditional housewife. However, she wants nothing to do with this and even gets Paul to become the househusband. However, that doesn't go well for long and a divorce is looming. But Bordon arranges for Paul to work in the same office as Maria, hoping that everything will be smooth sailing again between the two spouses.
