Filmistaan plot

Sunny from Mumbai fantasizes about becoming a star. At every audition, however, he is thrown out again. Undaunted, he follows an American film crew making a documentary in Rajasthan. An Islamic terrorist organization kidnaps him because they think he is American. The house in which he is being held belongs to a Pakistani who trades in bootleg Hindi films. Soon, Sunny discovers that he and his captors share a bond: film.
