Farewell to Dough plot

Itzik is a bachelor living in Jerusalem in a small apartment above his parents'. His daily routine is simple and comforting: every morning, a bureka—a leafy, savory pastry—from Musa’s bakery. When recurring attacks of dizziness drive him to the doctor, Itzik receives an unexpected diagnosis: he must give up carbohydrates. Completely. In Jerusalem, a city where the sacred and the everyday constantly clash, this seemingly small change in his diet turns into a major life crisis.
